According to a cached Ticketmaster listing, Slipknot have confirmed their own summer festival in Pacific Junction, Iowa at Mid America Motorplex on August 17th dubbed “Knotfest.”
The event will feature Deftones, Lamb of God, Serj Tankian, Prong, and Dethklok.
An official announcement is expected on Monday.
A few more dates have been added to the upcoming “More Than Sound” tour with War of Ages, Onward to Olympas, The Overseer, Leaders, and Letter To The Exiles. The itinerary follows:
A new track from Your Memorial called “Redirect” can be heard below.
The song is the title track of the band’s forthcoming record Redirect, out July 17th by way of Facedown Records.
Stray From The Path frontman Drew York and drummer Dan Bourke (Soldiers) have been at work on new material for their pop punk/rock project Church and State.
The band tentatively plans to record some new material in the coming weeks.
Trivium and As I Lay Dying will head to Europe this fall for a run of dates.
