Coheed and Cambria have reunited with drummer Josh Eppard, and have entered the studio to begin work on their sixth studio album.
“As the songs for the new record began twisting into shape, it slowly became apparent that these songs were very dynamic, and could truly flourish with the groove-oriented approach that Josh naturally brings to the table,” the band commented. “We also missed Josh as a person -what he meant to us as friends and the energy and humor he exudes. Austrian Death Machine (As I Lay Dying) will release a digital/7″ single dubbed Jingle All The Way on December 6th via Metal Blade.
The effort will include the tracks “I’m Not A Pervert” and “It’s Turbo Time.” A preview can be streamed below.

The band’s forthcoming album, The Path of Totality, is due December 6th through Roadrunner.
