A LOT LIKE BIRDS Guitarist Goes Into The Wild for Two Months to Write Solo Material

by | Aug 15, 2014

Hats off to A Lot Like Birds guitarist Michael Franzino — he’s off doing some Henry David Thoreau Walden Pond shit. You may recall a few months ago when he launched a crowdfunding campaign to support a new project separate from ALLB that ended up raising over $12,000 (his goal was $10k).

So what’s this project all about? Well, he’s off to a cabin in the woods for the next two months to work on writing some new solo material. No internet, no cell phone service — that means no Tinder for eight weeks.

Anyways, we wish him well on his endeavor. Expect him to begin recording that later this year and be done tracking by Christmas.
