Anthrax Played on Mars; Band Announce September/October Tour Dates

Anthrax have become the first metal band to have their music played on Mars.

The band’s 1990 track “Got The Time” was one of several songs on NASA’s wake-up playlist for the Mars Rover, Curiosity. “Got The Time” woke Curiosity up on Day Six, along with “Echelon” by 30 Seconds to Mars.

According to Scott Ian, “Yes, there will be moshing on Mars.”

The group has confirmed a tour for September/October. Dates follow:
