BTBAM’s Tommy Rogers is Making Modern Noise with His New Solo Album

by | Mar 11, 2014

If you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans of Between The Buried And Me and their related side-projects. We can go on forever about Dan Briggs’ band Orbs, and Tommy Rogers’ solo stuff makes our pulse race.

In fact, the BTBAM frontman’s pseudonymous solo project Thomas Giles will be recording a new album this summer. It’ll be a follow-up to his 2011 debut Pulse, which we put at #2 on our Best Releases of 2011.

He’ll be recording again with BTBAM go-to producer Jamie King and has tapped BTBAM’s first drummer, Will Goodyear, to play drums on the record.

The album will be called Modern Noise — it’s due out later in the year on Metal Blade.

And since we mentioned it, here’s a playlist with a bunch of songs off Pulse.
