ENEMIES are Breaking Up — Stream their Final Album

by | Dec 6, 2016

It’s always sad seeing things go — and in this case it’s Ireland’s mathy-post rock band Enemies. The group announced that they’re disbanding, and that their forthcoming record Valuables will be their last.

The band commented,

“Valuables is lucky to exist. During the two year period of creating this record, Enemies was torn apart in so many different ways. Musically we each had our own distinct and often opposing ideas or the album. In our personal lives some of us were falling apart. On tour we were rocketed to highs beyond belief, and at the same time pushed into some truly dark places. Our friendships reached a breaking point — yet we kept pushing ourselves to finish what we started.”

Enemies formed in 2007. They’ve released three studio albums (including the new record) and toured all over the world.

Here’s a stream of Valuables in full. It comes out everywhere on December 9th through Topshelf.

Their farewell show will be at Vicar Street in Dublin, Ireland on December 18th.

WOVENWAR Interview with Nick Hipa & Shane Blay
