ENEMIES Have Been Working on a New Album

We’ve known for a while that mathy Irish band Enemies have been working on new stuff, a follow up to their sophomore record Embark, Embrace. Last week the band put out a new single titled “Play Fire,” which is a precursor to the forthcoming, currently untitled album, and is the band’s take on pop music.

Guitarist Lewis Jackson said,

The new record feels like we’re moving away from what we know. It hasn’t been an easy process, but no album should be.

Good to hear. So as we wait on a new record from Enemies, here’s a video for “Play Fire” to hold you over. It’s their first new single in a couple years.
