Giraffe Tongue Orchestra — featuring The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman, Mastodon guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds, ex-Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, and One Day As A Lion drummer Jon Theodore (ex-The Mars Volta) — have started recording for the new project.

The band arrived in Los Angeles on Monday to begin work on new material with Steve Evetts.
