GLASSJAW Did a Surprise Show in Long Island with a New Lineup

by | Aug 10, 2015

So a couple weeks ago I posted about Glassjaw and how it appeared that drummer Durijah Lang and bassist Manny Carrero were no longer in the band. Sadly, this seems to be true. But it didn’t stop the JAW from playing a surprise show in their stomping grounds of Long Island over the weekend.

The band played a 30 minute surprise set in Amityville, NY at the Amityville Music Hall on Friday, where they also revealed their new lineup — at least the lineup they’ll be using for their upcoming shows.

Who’s filling in for the Durijah and Manny? Well it looks like former Glass Cloud drummer Chad Hasty and bassist Travis Sykes. No word though on whether it’s a permanent position or if they’re just stepping in for the meanwhile.

Anyway here’s a video of them playing “You Think You’re (John Fucking Lennon)” and “Tip Your Bartender.”

Glassjaw tour dates:

Sep 20 Denver, CO @ Riot Fest
Sep 20 Denver, CO @ After Party at The Marquis Theater
Nov 08 Austin, TX @ Fun Fun Fun Festival
