Grammys Producer Says Sorry to Trent Reznor (Kind of)

by | Jan 29, 2014

You know how Trent Reznor gave “a heartfelt fuck you” to the Grammys the other day? Well, Grammy executive producer Ken Ehrlich apologized — sort of.

Reznor vented his frustration on Twitter earlier this week after the final jam of the Grammys — featuring Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl, and Fleetwood Mac’s Lyndsey Buckingham — was cut off for promoting their sponsors and rolling credits.

Ehrlich spoke to Hollywood Reporter about the situation.

I’m sorry he was upset. I was really thrilled that we were finally getting him on the Grammys…. I did tell them we’d take it as long as we could. The number was about five, six minutes long, and we got to within a minute twenty of the end. We got as close as we could possibly get.

Pretty sure Reznor’s heartfelt fuck you still stands.
