Hear a Song Off FUGAZI’s First Demo

Before there was YouTube in 1988, the mighty Fugazi entered the studio to record a demo after only playing about 10 shows. They tracked 11 songs and released them on cassette, giving them away at shows for free.

Only one of those 11 songs got a proper release. Now Fugazi will be posthumously releasing First Demo, which features all of the 11 songs.

Here’s a demo of their song “Merchandise.”

First Demo comes out November 11th via Dischord.
