Is The Word Alive Alive or are They a Broken Circuit?

You know The Word Alive frontman Tyler “Telle” Smith used to play bass for Greeley Estates? We asked him about a memorable moment he had with the band and he said he recalls trashing a hotel room. “We toilet-papered our hotel room for no reason. We woke up with toilet paper everywhere…What happened? Why did we do that?”

That was back in 2008 and Smith still seems to be pretty Charmin (ya see what we did there?). Things have been getting real with The Word Alive, as they’re preparing to release their new album Real on June 10th through Fearless.
