Ladies & Gents, TEAM SLEEP (Deftones) Have Returned

by | Aug 20, 2014

Wow – we weren’t expecting this one!  Team Sleep, featuring Deftones frontman Chino Moreno and drummer Zach Hill (Death Grips, Hella), have returned and are at work on a new album. No wait…it gets better.

After a lengthy hibernation, the band are inviting fans to to participate in the recording of an in-studio album/performance at Applehead Recording & Production in Woodstock, NY.

The band said:

For a long time, business people, logistics, careers, adulthood, families and the House Republicans have thwarted us, but we’ve continued to make music. At the same time, the creative process has become increasingly fragmented and dehumanized. With that in mind, we’re very excited to get together with our dear friends, hang out, play music and have a unique experience in a beautiful place.

You can purchase those tickets here. Be warned, they’re $520 a pop.

We’ll keep you updated on more as we go.
