Lostprophets’ Ian Watkins on Suicide Watch

Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins is on suicide watch as he awaits to stand trial for numerous sexual offences, including charges of raping a baby.

Watkins appeared via video link this morning at a pre-trial review in Cardiff Crown Court, where it was revealed the singer is on suicide watch five times an hour. A clinical psychologist suggested the singer get anti-psychotic medication and be moved from prison to a psychiatric hospital.

He’s accused of 23 sexual offences, including charges of raping a baby and possessing extreme images of a person having sex with an animal.

The trial is set for November 25th and is expected to last a month.
