Motionless In White Drummer Quits Band: The Life of a Touring Musician Has Finally Caught Up with Me

by | Mar 12, 2013

Motionless In White drummer Angelo Parente has quit the band.

“After doing this since I was 17, the nonstop touring, and everything else that comes with the life of a musician, has finally caught up with me,” Parente said. “It has affected me mentally and physically and it’s to a point where the best thing for the rest of the band and myself would be for me to call it quits.”

The band said they won’t be cancelling any shows, and issued a warm farewell statement to their drummer.

“We hope that he will find the relief he is searching for and that this is nothing but a positive move on his part. We are extremely sad to see him go, but we fully support and understand his decision to do what’s best for him. We are and will remain on good terms with him and really hope that all of our amazing fans will support him in whatever he chooses to do from this point on.”
