PERIPHERY Announce New Album “Periphery III: Select Difficulty” + Tour with SIKTH, CHON

by | Apr 26, 2016

That new Periphery album that’s been cooking for a while, it’s coming this summer. Prepare yourself for Periphery III: Select Difficulty.

Guitarist Jake Bowen said,

For the past couple of years we’ve been refining our collaborative process as a band and we feel that it’s only getting better with the completion of this album. We spent two months writing songs that are not only representative of the Periphery sound but also reflect where all of us are as musicians, working together has helped us tread new ground musically and creatively.

The album was produced by the band’s own Adam “Nolly” Getgood, who also did the Juggernaut releases.  Nolly won’t be a touring member of Periphery anymore — he’ll be focusing more on his production work and will still be a member of Periphery. No word yet about a touring bassist.

But speaking of touring, the band will be supporting the release on a tour dubbed The Sonic Unrest tour with SikTh, Chon and Toothgrinder.

Periphery III: Select Difficulty comes out July 22nd.
