Mammoth is an understatement. Gargantuan and colossal are better words to describe the Los Angeles progressive metal trio who have stampeded across Southern California the past few years, making a name for themselves with their hefty roar and grand stage performances.

Wizards of their instruments and beasts at their craft, Mammoth are set to unleash their highly anticipated EP, Innate, a five-track opus powerful enough to revive their woolly brethren out of extinction.

Later this month the band will cross the pond for a mini-tour in Germany in support of the effort. Then they'll be back in SoCal for a string of hometown shows.

We're delighted to premiere a new song off the EP -- here's "Ceremonial Design."

Innate comes out on May 19th. You can preorder it on Bandcamp.
