PROPHETS OF RAGE: Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy & Cypress Hill Members Start New Band

by | May 19, 2016

Ok, so Rage Against The Machine isn’t reforming BUT the members of the band have formed a new supergroup with members of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill

RATM guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk have teamed up with Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real to form Prophets of Rage.

Sorry guys, Zack de la Rocha isn’t involved.

The band is scheduled to make their live debut at the Hollywood Palladium on June 3rd. Word on the street is that they’ll also be doing a show at the Whisky a Go Go. A summer tour may also be in the works.

Earlier this week Rage Against The Machine launched a website counting down to June 1st with the hashtag #TakeThePowerBack. And with a big election year, it’s perfect timing.
