SILVER SNAKES to Release New Album “Saboteur” on Claudio Sanchez’s Label

by | Nov 17, 2015

Is this real life? We’ve been talking about Silver Snakes for the past few years and were all about their last album Year of the Snake. Damn that was some good stuff. Now the band are back with a new album, and this time they’ve signed with Evil Ink Records, the label run by Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez.

The band’s forthcoming record is called Saboteur. Frontman Alex Estrada commented on it:

It’s about sabotage, it’s about using direct action to accomplish a goal. It can be applied to many situations: personal, political etc. It’s about having the passion to do absolutely whatever it takes to make a point even if it’s potentially harmful.

In January Silver Snakes will be doing residency at Silverlake Lounge in LA, and then they’ll join Coheed and Cambria on a massive US trek in February/March alongside Glassjaw.

Here’s a stream of their new track “Raindance.”

Saboteur comes out on February 5th.
