Slayer Cancels Tours, Araya Scheduled For Back Surgery

Slayer have been forced to cancel all of their immediate tour plans, including the upcoming American and Canadian Carnage tour dates, in order for bassist/vocalist Tom Araya to undergo back surgery at the end of January.

Araya began experiencing back problems on tour last October, and continues to deal with severe pain, numbness and muscle spasms.

Tour dates are in the process of being rescheduled.
