SUMAC are Writing a New Album

Yep, the band that features former Isis vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner, Baptists drummer Nick Yacyshyn, and (sometimes) Brian Cook of Russian Circles are writing material again. They’ve been hashing out songs for a follow up to their debut album The Deal that came out earlier this year.

The group will begin tracking their record next month at The Unknown in Anacortes, WA with Kurt Ballou of Converge once again. Come February/March they’ve got plans to trek across the Southwest and up the West Coast.
