Tera Melos stream another new song “Your Friends”

by | Aug 22, 2017

Let’s get down to business: there’s new Tera Melos coming and you know it’s going to be rad. It’s a full-length album called Trash Generator — and it’s their first new music in 4 years.

So you can imagine how thrilled we are for it. Sacramento’s finest are merging their pop tendencies with that explosive old school sound that got us hooked. And as the band said themselves, this record is all about saying “fuck it.”

Bassist Nathan Latona elaborated,

“Making a new record seemed like a fun act of defiance. The odds are against bands like us… [We] just wanted to get together, have some fun, and make something that we think is cool.”

This fall Tera Melos will be having lots of fun acting defiant on tour. They’ll be performing new jams on their trek across the US with Speedy Ortiz.

And if you haven’t heard one of those new jams yet, here’s their second single “Your Friends.”

Trash Generator comes out this Friday, August 25th through Sargent House.

Zechs Marquise: The Ryan’s Rock Show Interview

Back when I was a wee lad, 15 or so, At The Drive-In was by far my favorite band ever. Even today their music is on my top all-time list of kick ass bands next to groups like Fugazi and Faith No More. I remember in my pubescent years always thinking, whoever got to...

Korn Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show: Drummer Ray Luzier Remembers Who He Is

Back in the prehistoric days when neanderthals like Geocities and MP3.com walked the net, Korn was the baddest band in the world. When I was in the 7th grade, I would go to my Catholic grade school non-uniform days strictly in Korn attire, and would scream...
