The Devil Wears Prada guitarist Chris Rubey will miss a string of dates on the band’s upcoming tour with As I Lay Dying — he just had a child.

“I’ll be staying home for a portion of our current tour with AILD to take care of my newborn. Samuel Penner from For Today will be filling in for the time being and we’re very glad to have him. I’ll be back as soon as possible…”
