The Dillinger Escape Plan Cancel Summer European Tour Dates

The Dillinger Escape Plan have cancelled their upcoming summer European touring plans because guitarist Ben Weinman broke his right hand.

“I’m heartbroken that we will miss these shows because we were all looking forward to them a great deal,” Weinman said. “Obviously nobody likes being injured. I’m looking forward to performing on Summer Slaughter at full capacity and we will be back in Europe this fall on our headlining tour.”

He’ll spend the rest of this month recovering.

Additionally, Weinman’s new video interview on Ryan’s Rock Show — where he talks about his early days and auditioning for Nine Inch Nails — can be seen here.
