The Last Song THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES Recorded is Getting a 7″ Release

by | Nov 5, 2014

Of all the bands taking a dirt nap that we wish would resurrect, These Arms Are Snakes have to be our favorite. The band broke up in 2009, but we can still feel its venom in our bloodstream. Was their 2008 album Tail Swallower and Dove not the biz?

Apparently right before they broke up they recorded cover of Lost Sounds’ “Energy Drink & The Long Walk Home” that never saw the light of day. Now Suicide Squeeze will be putting out the unreleased track on a split 7″ with The Coathangers, who TAAS toured with back in the day. The Coathangers will be lending their take on The Gun Club’s “Sex Beat.”

The split will be released on December 2nd. You can pre-order it here.

And as always, since we mentioned it, here’s a stream of Tail Swallower and Dove in its entirety.
