There’s a new ’68 album on the way — Two Parts Viper

by | Mar 3, 2017

Oh man, Josh Scogin is at it again! There’s a new ’68 album coming. And it channels stuff like At The Drive-In, Jack White, and The Black Keys. We can get down with that.

The album is called Two Parts Viper. It features 10 new tracks and will serve as the band’s sophomore album, a follow up to 2014’s In Humor and Sadness.

Josh said,

“This album is unlike anything I have ever written. Although it is only our 2nd full length I tried to make it sound more like our 3rd (or even 4th). Instead of just adding more blocks to the foundation of our debut, I tried to imagine that it was like 5 years down the road and just created something new (for me) from that.”

This spring ’68 will be out supporting Every Time I Die alongside Wage War. And right after they’ll be headlining a tour with Listener.

A release date is TBA via Cooking Vinyl America.
