This or the Apocalypse Drummer Had to Get His Appendix Removed

by | Jan 6, 2014

This or the Apocalypse have had a rocky start to their US headlining tour, which kicked off a few days ago.

Only a couple dates in and drummer Aaron Ovecka had to undergo an appendectomy to get his appendix removed. Ouch!

Despite the unfortunate event, he seems to be well on his way to recovery. The band will continue their trek with Sirens and Sailors drummer Doug Court filling in.

And if you’d like to send get well gifts, Ovecka likes Skittles, drum magazines, orange juice with pulp, comics about androgynous heroes, musicals, Facebook arguments, and beer. The band recommends skipping the last two.
