THRICE are Back in Action!

by | Feb 11, 2015

So if you remember in December, we posted again about a possible Thrice reunion. The band even hinted at it themselves with a photo on their official website that said “Thrice 2015.” Rumors had been circulating for over a year, right after Dustin Kensrue said in a Reddit AMA that touring in the future was “very very likely.”

Fast forward to today and Thrice will indeed be doing some reunion shows this year. Well, at least one, but we presume more. They’ve been announced for this year’s Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, QC, which takes place on June 18-21. As you likely know, this will be their first time back on stage since going on hiatus in 2011.

Also, we should point out that 2015 is the ten year anniversary of their 2005 album Vheissu. That would be cool if they played the album in its entirety at a few shows, just saying.

We don’t know too much else, but we’ll keep you posted on when we hear more.

Here’s Vheissu in its entirety.

First week numbers are in for All That Remains’ new album For We Are Many — the record sold nearly 30,000 units in the first seven days of its release, landing at number 10 on the Billboard 200. That’s a pretty crazy number considering I don’t...
