Thrice are Reissuing “Beggars” on Vinyl

by | Apr 1, 2014

We posted a couple weeks ago about Thrice and the possibility that they may be ending their hiatus in the near future. In a recent Reddit AMA frontman Dustin Kensrue said a tour of some kind is “very, very likely” and that he suspects new music will be recorded in the future. When? No one knows for sure yet, but perhaps this is a precursor for their return.

The band will be reissuing their 2009 album Beggars on vinyl on May 20th via Staple Records/Workhorse Music Group. It’ll be a limited pressing of 1000 and will include a 24-page booklet with liner notes written by the band. Pre-orders for that can be found here.

We’ll let you know when we hear more. For now, here’s a stream of Beggars in its entirety.

Pelican Interview: A Retrospective with Trevor de Brauw & Bryan Herweg

“We teepeed Thrice while they were playing,” says Pelican bassist Bryan Herweg. “We went out and actually wrapped them up in toilet paper.” Chatting at a park bench on a calm street in Pomona, Herweg and guitarist Trevor de Brauw reminisce of...
