THURSDAY: Watch Footage from Riot Fest Chicago

by | Sep 19, 2016

One band that’s been making the reunion round is Thursday. They made a couple festival appearances this summer — one at Wrecking Ball in Atlanta and another at Riot Fest in Denver — and this weekend took the stage again for Riot Fest in Chicago.

The band played songs off their 2001 breakthrough album Full Collapse, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. And they also did some jams off 2003’s War of All Time.

As frontman Geoff Rickly put it back in March, the band found it necessary to end Thursday for reasons beyond their control. When they met up earlier this year they were able to reconcile their differences and spend time together.

As you can see from the footage here, things seem to be back on track — at least for this reunion run. The group have a couple performances left. One stop will be in Austin, TX on November 2nd for Sound on Sound. Then on December 30th they’ll be doing a hometown show at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.

Here’s them at Douglas Park this past Sunday.

Thursday tour dates:

Dec 30 Sayreville, NJ @ Starland Ballroom
