Trioscapes (BTBAM) to Begin Recording their New Album

by | Jan 27, 2014

Between The Buried And Me bassist Dan Briggs is always busy with something. The first time we interviewed him in 2010 he was dealing with a hectic schedule on tour with his side project Orbs. Guess what? We’ve learned he’s got some more tricks up his sleeve.

Briggs’ jazz-infused progressive band Trioscapes will be entering the studio this spring to record their next album. It looks like they’ll start tracking sometime in April. This will be the band’s sophomore album and will follow up to 2012′s Separate Realities, a record we put at #8 on our Best Albums of 2012.

We still haven’t heard when the new Orbs record will be released, but we’ve been promised it’ll come out this year. And if you want to catch Briggs on the road, BTBAM will be touring with Deafheaven, Intronaut, and The Kindred next month.
