VIS are Putting Out a New EP, “Songs of No Consequence”

by | Oct 28, 2015

Thank god we’re getting some new jams from VIS. The SoCal band released their debut EP, No Waves, last year — and now they’re on track to putting out another batch of songs in time for the holidays.

The band’s forthcoming “minEP” is called Songs of No Consequence, and it features two new tracks that will serve as precursors to a full-length album that’s currently being written. The EP will include new tunes “1157” — not to be confused with 1738 — and “Stowaway.” They were recorded with RX Bandits guitarist Steve Choi and Roger Camero (Peace’d Out), and band drummer Allen Casillas engineered vocals for the pair of tracks at his own studio.

You can pre-order the EP on Bandcamp. Here’s a teaser for it, along with a video of their recent performance at Bonnerhaus in North Hollywood.

Songs of No Consequence is due out on November 20.
