World Under Blood Complete New Album ‘Tactical’

by | Jan 14, 2010

World Under Blood, a band featuring members of CKY and Divine Heresy, have completed recording their new record, “Tactical”. Deron Miller gave the following update:

“james murphy, luke jaeger and i have finished recording all the music for the first World Under Blood record. i had a lot of fun hanging out with those guys and recording at my house for a week. it looks like there will be 9 songs on the record. 8 originals and 1 Megadeth cover, and japan will get a bonus track…a cover of Malevolent Creation’s “Alliance or War”. plus i have some interlude ideas that i want to include. these are musical passages that have been on the back burner for a while that i really like. i dont know yet how many i will include.”

“all thats left to do is some vocals and some atmospheric keyboard parts. im really excited about getting it out. it’s been a very challenging record to make. i made sure that i wrote songs that pushed the envelope of our abilities. tim yeung did it with ease…so did luke. i, on the other hand enjoyed the process of trying to “play it perfectly”. i couldnt be happier with how its turning out.”

“there will be video clips up soon that mr. murphy took during the sessions.”

The Acacia Strain Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

Beartooth Interview: Ex-Attack Attack!’s Caleb Shomo Reemerges with a Sharper Bite

When Caleb Shomo quit Attack Attack! last December he was in the darkest year of his life. “Having thousands of people tell you you’re a ‘fat piece of shit’ isn’t exactly the easiest thing to deal with at 17,” he said in his farewell...

Bleeding Through Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

If you’ve been a Ryan’s Rock Show reader for a minute, you may remember the interview I did a while back with Death By Stereo. I got into a pretty long discussion with the dudes about the early Orange County punk scene, and how a small community of kids...
