ZECHS MARQUISE Returned to the Stage for the First Time in 2 Years (Footage)

by | Dec 28, 2015

Welcome back, gentlemen. We’re pretty stoked to see things happening again for Zechs Marquise, the rad instrumental band that features the three younger brothers of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Over the weekend they played their first show since 2013.

The band took the stage at The Lowbrow Palace on Saturday in their hometown of El Paso, TX. And while we weren’t there in person, we were there in spirit. From what we can tell, it seems to have been a pretty darn good time.

Now we don’t know much about what Zechs has in store for 2016, if anything. But we do hope that this show and all the rehearsing that led up to it will mean for some new material in the New Year. After all, At The Drive-In will be doing more reunion shows next year, and we presume Antemasque will continue doing stuff as well… Maybe we could we see Zechs Marquise as support on some dates?

Here’s some footage from their show on Saturday.
