During a Q&A session on his solo tour in Dallas, Texas, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor reponded to a fan question asking what it was like working with producer Rick Rubin on the band’s 2004 album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses).
Taylor commented, “The Rick Rubin of today is a thin, thin, thin shadow of the Rick Rubin that he was. He is overrated, he is overpaid, and I will never work with him again as long as I fucking live.” Video footage is below.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor may be the new singer for Velvet Revolver.
According to Billboard.com, Taylor refused to confirm or deny rumors when asked about his involvement with the band.
“To be continued!” he exclaimed.
An official announcement confirming Taylor as the group’s new frontman has yet to be released.
Slipknot has been confirmed to headline UK’s Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth House on July 8 – 10, 2011.
