FINCH’s “Back to Oblivion” Gets a Release Date + Tour w/ Maps & Atlases & Weatherbox Announced

Well that’s weird. We never would have guessed that Finch would be touring this fall with Maps & Atlases — an interesting choice of bands for sure. As you’ve been aware, things have heated up for Finch since they did their What It Is to Burn reunion tour, and their new album Back to Oblivion will be the first new material we’ve heard since the group returned after their second hiatus in 2012.

FINCH are Going Back To Oblivion with their New Album

After a successful What it is to Burn reunion tour last year, it was only a matter of time before Finch would get to work on a new album. We posted a few months ago about how the band were at work writing and recording new material and that a new album was expected out later this year. Looks like everything is going according to plan — a new Finch album is supposed to come out this fall.

Linkin Park’s Surprise Set at Warped Tour Had Everybody One Step Closer to the Edge

It was their first time playing Warped Tour ever. Yesterday Linkin Park made a surprise appearance to a massive crowd at Warped Tour in Ventura, CA, performing with a guest on every song, including members of Finch, A Day To Remember, and The Devil Wears Prada.

So There’s A New Finch Album Coming Out this Year

When Finch played a new song at the last show of their What it is to Burn reunion tour in Hollywood last year, we figured they had something up their sleeves. The band never mentioned anything publicly about it, but we saw that shit before we walked in the room. That’s right, a new Finch album is coming out this year.
