Kayo Dot have finished work on their new album “Stained Glass”. The band will premiere the album live in New York City at Bowery Electric on August 24.

Kayo Dot’s new album, “Coyote”, can be streamed in its entirety here. The record was released today, April 20, via Hydra Head.

Kayo Dot have entered the studio to begin recording their new EP, “Stained Glass”.

The EP will consist of one long composition, featuring vibraphonist Russell Greenberg (Hi-Red Center, Yarn/Wire, Hunter/Gatherer).

Kayo Dot will be recording with Jim Fogarty at Zing Studios in Westfield, MA. Additional recording will take place in various locations around the globe on portable 4-track cassette and antique 1/4″ one-track reel-to-reel.

“Stained Glass” will be released by Hydra Head later this year.

A new track from Kayo Dot, “Whisper Ineffable”, has premiered online here. The song comes from the band’s forthcoming album , “Coyote”, due out on April 6th via Hydra Head.
