Dillinger’s Ben Weinman Comments on Giraffe Tongue Orchestra

The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman will be spending today working on Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, the collaboration with Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds.

“So about G.T.O (Giraffe Tongue Orchestra), Brent and I have already got new material,” Weinman commented on the band’s official website. “The guy just spits out riffs like a riff machine…we shall be working all day on sweet sweet melodies sure to make the young girls cry and the old one scream (not necessarily in that order).”

The project is also expected to feature former Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery and ex-The Mars Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen.
