Of Mice & Men’s new self-titled album can be streamed in its entirety here. The band’s record is due to hit stores on March 9th via Rise Records.

Of Mice & Men vocalist Austin Carlile has been forced to drop off the band’s upcoming tour with Alesana and A Skylit Drive due to a health condition that seeks immediate medical attention. Carlile commented:

“While on our break after New Years from tour, my cardiologist in Ohio called me and told me that I needed to get to a hospital and get tests re-done immediately. They also called in some rad heart meds that 70 year olds take for me to start on. Haha! The next day I went in for an EKG, MRI, and CATSCAN to find out that the surgery I was aware I would need in a few years, was now needed within the next 8 months instead. The doctor also told me that I wasn’t allowed to tour until the surgery happened. They’ll be cutting me right down the middle, FUN! SO, I had to break the news to the band/management and let them know I was getting this set up as soon as possible. I will be getting everything done within the next couple of months, and WILL be recovered in time to play Warped Tour!”

Jerry Roush (ex-Sky Eats Airplane) will be substituting as the band’s vocalist during Carlile’s absence. The tour is scheduled to kick off on Feb 13th in Philadelphia, PA.

Rise Records has pushed back the release for Of Mice & Men’s self-titled album to March 09th.

Of Mice & Men have posted a new track, entitled “YDG”, on their Myspace. The song is taken from the bands upcoming self-titled album due out on February 23rd via Rise Records.
