The Empire Shall Fall’s forthcoming EP, Volume I: Solar Plexus, will be released digitally on December 6th. A vinyl pressing of the effort is expected in late December.
As previously reported, the outing will serve as the first effort in a series of three conceptual EP releases.
“We are working on Volume 2 (and Volume 3),” the band stated. “In the preliminary stage we can safely say that Volume 2 will be a heavier record (this is intentional, and goes with the concept). We have most of the songs in their skeletal structure, and over the next few months hope to polish things up so we can be recording in the spring (this time hopefully with a faster turn around!).”
The Empire Shall Fall is streaming a new song, “As The City Sleeps,” on Facebook in exchange for a like.
The track will appear on Volume I: Solar Plexus, the band’s forthcoming album. Release details are to be announced.
The Empire Shall Fall announced that its forthcoming series of three conceptual EPs — the first expected out this fall — will not see individual CD releases, but instead will be issued on vinyl and as a high quality download. A CD packaging all three EPs will be released in 2012, after each EP is released on vinyl/digital format.
