Tomahawk’s New Album Due in Fall
Tomahawk’s upcoming fourth studio album is expected out in fall through Ipecac Recordings.
Tomahawk will release a three LP vinyl effort called Eponymous to Anonymous on Record Store Day, April 21st.
The outing will include all three of the band’s albums — 2001’s Tomahawk, 2003’s Mit Gas, and 2007’s Anonymous — and will include an empty space for the group’s upcoming fourth studio album.

Trevor Dunn Joins Tomahawk
Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3) has joined Tomahawk.
ThePRP was the first to point out Dunn’s comments on his official website last month, “Upon arriving home from that tour, after licking my wounds, I need to dig into learning music for the new Tomahawk record. And yes, it seems as though I’m joining yet another band. This will probably make the fifth band with which Mike Patton and I have shared the stage. Duane Denison and I have been speculating about playing some music together for a while. So, Nashville, here I come.”

Tomahawk Record Store Day Release in Works
Tomahawk have plans to put out a release on Record Store Day, April 21st. Details on the effort have yet to be announced.
In November, the band revealed that they have been working on a new album, due out via Ipecac.
