What do you get when Stick To Your Guns and Stray From The Path members team up for a project? Trade Wind, of course. The new band featuring STYG’s Jesse Barnett and SFTP guitarist Tom Williams will be putting out their debut EP, Suffer Just To Believe, in June. So far you’ve already heard their first single “Fixed Blade” — how about another?
Hands off the glass — Structures are gearing up to put out their new album Life Through A Window this spring. It was recorded with producer Will Putney (Stray From The Path, For Today) and will be the first to feature their guitarist Brendon Padjasek on vocals.
Remember a couple months ago when Stick to Your Guns frontman Jesse Barnett joined Stray From The Path onstage in Pomona. Wasn’t that rad? Even more rad is that Barnett and SFTP guitarist Tom Williams have started a new band — they’re called Trade Wind.
Stray From The Path have been over in Europe supporting Architects alongside Northlane. It’s been a bumpy trek so far — unfortunately a death in the family forced frontman Drew York to head back home to the States for a few days. He will, however, rejoin the band on Monday for their show in Helsinki, Finland.
