Arsonists Get All the Girls Involved in Van Accident

by | Dec 1, 2009

Arsonists Get All the Girls were involved in a van accident yesterday morning in which their van flipped over on the way to Oregon. The band released the following statement:

“This Morning at 7 AM we flipped and Totaled our van on highway 84 in Oregon….

We are all lucky to be alive with only cuts and bruises. None of us have strong religious beliefs but we feel that of all the days we could have this happen it happened on Patrick’s birthday, it almost seemed as if he was watching over us today. We have been through more than what most bands go through in their career, which we have experienced in only a few years…. This is not going to effect our decision to leave the tour and go home, just as on previous tours. We will stick it through till the very end. This tour is a dream come true and we are the last ones that would leave it. We would also like to whole-heartedly thank our friends in Norma Jean, Horse the Band, and The Chariot for helping us through everything and keeping our spirits up!

A donation account will be made shortly to help us continue to do what we love the most which is touring the world playing the kind of music we want to play…

we love all of you and see you on the road! We couldn’t do any of this without all of you!!!”

36 Crazyfists Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

You gotta wonder about the fate of some of these younger bands. Will majority of them just put out an album or two and vanish, or will some groups actually have the lasting power to stand the test of time? The “test of time” meaning that they’ll have...

The Acacia Strain Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

I have a pet peeve with the term “music journalist”. I guess technically what I do for Ryan’s Rock Show is a form of journalism, but sadly my image of a music journalist is no longer Lester Bangs. To me, the term “music journalist” has...
