by | Nov 26, 2011

The long-awaited Fugazi digital archive, Fugazi Live Series, will be launched to the public on December 1st.

Fugazi Live Series documents over 800 of the band’s 1000+ worldwide peformances, which were recorded by the group’s sound engineers on high quality recording gear.

The band will initially release 130 downloads, including 101 new shows, plus 29 of the performances released on the out-of-print Fugazi Live CD series. Additional downloads, photos, flyers, etc. will be added regularly until the entire archive is available for download.

In keeping with the band’s philosophy of keeping music affordable, the suggested price per concert download is $5. A sliding scale option will be made available for fans to set their own price for downloads, while an “All Access” option allows a download of the entire archive.
