Queens of the Stone Age Tap Dave Grohl for Drums on New Album

Queens of the Stone Age have tapped Dave Grohl to handle drum duties on their upcoming record, a follow-up to 2007’s Era Vulgaris.

Grohl, who did drums on 2002’s Songs for the Deaf, will appear on the group’s sixth studio album due out next year, reports BBC Radio 1.

Queens of the Stone Age entered the studio in late-August to begin tracking new material. The band recently confirmed an appearance at next year’s Download Festival in the UK.
