Baroness Bus Crash: Driver Faces Charges

The driver of Baroness’ bus at the time of their near-fatal crash in England last August is facing numerous charges.

According to the BBC, Norman Markus, the driver of the coach, is being charged with dangerous driving. He faces additional charges of using a vehicle with defective brakes and breaching a 7.5 ton weight limit; charges of insufficient daily and weekly rest periods and using a vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger of injury; he also faces charges of not having a correct license permitting him the drive the coach that was involved in the crash.

Markus is due to appear in court on April 5th.
