Ian Watkins: Trial Date Set for Lostprophets Frontman

A trial date has been set for Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins, who’s being charged with child sexual offences, including plotting to rape baby.

BBC reports that Watkins “furiously denies” all charges. Those charges include two counts of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with two young children and three counts of possessing, making, and distributing indecent images of children. He’s also accused of possessing extreme animal pornography.

A tentative trial date is set for July 15th, with a hearing scheduled sometime in May.
