Daryl Palumbo’s Color Film (Glassjaw) to Play with ††† (Crosses) in NYC This Week

by | Feb 11, 2014

Remember when we did that interview with Glassjaw back in 2009? At the time it was the first one they had done in several years, and Daryl Palumbo, Justin Beck, and Manny Carrero told us about the music they were working on — the tunes that eventually became their Coloring Book EP.  Dude, where was drummer Durijah Lang when this was going down?

Anyway, as most of you know, Daryl Palumbo has a gazillion projects — and by now you’re probably familiar with his new band with Richard Penzone (ex-Men, Women & Children) called Color Film.

Do you live in New York? If so, your Valentine’s week just got better. Because Color Film will be joining ††† (Crosses) for their NYC shows tomorrow and Thursday. This will be the second time in the past six months that Palumbo and Chino Moreno are on a bill together. Glassjaw did a date with Deftones in LA last November, which was very reminiscent  of the early 2000s when Deftones took GJ on tour.

Oh yeah, Color Film also has a music video in the works for “Until You Turn Blue.” Not sure when that’s going to premiere, but we’ll keep you posted.

Color Film shows with ††† (Crosses):

Feb 12 New York, NY @ Santos Party House
Feb 13 Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
