Killer Be Killed: The Soulfly / Dillinger / Mastodon / ex-Mars Volta Supergroup are Coming Out with their Debut Album

by | Mar 10, 2014

Do you remember the interview we did with Soulfly’s Max Cavalera back in 2008? We met up with him at his hotel next to the House of Blues on Sunset and he told us about voodoo in Brazil. He said “crazy shit” goes down there — and we believe him!

You know what else is crazy? His long-awaited supergroup Killer Be Killed. It features The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, and ex-Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch. Curious? They’ll be releasing their debut album this spring.

That’s right, the SABBATH-y doom/thrash/hardcore/punk project will put out their self-titled debut album on May 13th. It’ll feature Cavalera, Puciato, and Sanders all sharing vocal duties. So far we don’t have a new song, but we’ll let you know when we get more.
