You may or may not remember the interview we did with Thrice, but we got intimate with them in 2011. Guitarist Teppei Teranishi and drummer Riley Breckenridge told us about the time they played at a Sea World parking lot and one of their first tours ever with Cave In. How bummed we were when they went on hiatus.
But there’s good news if you’re a Thrice fan. It appears that their hiatus may be ending in the near future. Frontman Dustin Kensrue did a Reddit AMA and was asked how likely it was for the band to tour again and record new music. To which he responded:
Tour of some kind: very very likely. Recording of some kind: I hope so and suspect yes.
Of course you know we like to jump to conclusions around here. So far no official statement has been released by the band, but we’ll keep you posted as we go.
